Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Cinévo mobile application ("App") developed by Bryce Kaddouri ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Cinévo is a movie and TV show tracking application. It lets you discover titles, build a watchlist, track episode progress, receive new-episode notifications, and connect with friends. The App displays content metadata from TMDB and streaming availability from JustWatch. Cinévo does not stream or host any video content.

2. Account registration

An account is required to use the App. You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. An invite code may be required to register.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service
  • Scrape, crawl, or automatically extract data from the App
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
  • Distribute spam or unsolicited recommendations to other users

4. Intellectual property

The App, its design, and its code are the property of Bryce Kaddouri. Movie and TV show metadata, posters, and images are provided by TMDB under their API terms. Streaming availability data is provided by JustWatch. You retain ownership of any personal data you provide (username, feedback, etc.).

5. Third-party content

Cinévo displays content from third-party sources (TMDB, JustWatch). We do not control or guarantee the accuracy of this content. External links (trailers, streaming services, JustWatch) take you to third-party websites governed by their own terms.

6. Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time through Settings → Profile → Delete Account. Your personal information is removed immediately. You can also request deletion by contacting us atsupport@bryce-kaddouri.com.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the App available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature at any time without notice. We are not liable for any downtime or data loss.

8. Limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
