Frequently asked questions
How do I create an account?
Download Cinévo from the App Store or Google Play, open the app, and tap "Sign up." You'll need an invite code to register — ask the person who shared the app with you for one.
How do I track a TV show?
Search for the show, tap on it, and tap "Add to list." You can then mark episodes as watched, set a status, and turn on notifications for new episodes.
How do notifications work?
When you enable notifications for a show, Cinévo sends you a push notification when a new episode airs. You can set a default notification time or customize it per show in Settings → Notifications.
How do I add friends?
Go to the Friends tab and tap "Add friend." You can search by username or scan a friend's QR code. Once connected, you'll see each other's watchlists and can send recommendations.
Where does the content data come from?
Movie and TV show metadata (titles, posters, overviews, cast) comes from TMDB. Streaming availability (where to watch) is provided by JustWatch. Cinévo does not stream or host any video content.
